Medical Administrative Coordinator (Full-Time, In-Office)
Job Summary
Neighborhood Naturopathic is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Coordinator to join our dedicated healthcare team. This full-time, in-office position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for our patients and staff. You’ll serve as the first point of contact at our front desk, greeting patients, managing communications, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring that our administrative operations run smoothly and in alignment with our clinic’s mission of holistic, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
Welcome and check in patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
Answer patient questions, phone calls, and emails, and route messages appropriately
Collect co-pays, payments, and process patient paperwork accurately
Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments using our electronic health record system
Maintain organized administrative records and help manage office communications
Assist with light cleaning and laundry tasks to help maintain a tidy, comfortable environment
Support clinic practitioners with administrative coordination and special projects as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certificate or coursework in medical administration or a related healthcare field preferred
1+ year of administrative experience (medical office experience preferred)
Familiarity with medical terminology and interest in natural or integrative medicine a plus
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Positive attitude, reliability, and comfort working in a collaborative, patient-focused setting
Position Details
Hours: Full-time, 30–40 hours per week (must be available Monday-Friday between 8:30a and 5:30p during clinic operating hours, with potential occasional Saturday shifts)
Wage: Starting at $23/hour, negotiable DOE
Location: In-Office, located on California Ave SW in West Seattle
Benefits: Health insurance (75% of premiums covered)
