Dr. Emily Lesnak

Dr. Emily Lesnak is a licensed naturopathic doctor providing primary care and specializing in pediatrics, natural fertility, and postpartum care.

Dr. Emily Lesnak grew up in Northern Minnesota and knew that she wanted to be a pediatrician ever since 4th grade career day.  Dr. Lesnak attended Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota majored in Biology and Anthropology.  During a public health study abroad program to South Africa she was able to experience a traditional healing ceremony where she had a felt sense of being called to becoming a traditional healer herself.  Upon completion of that program, she found that naturopathic medicine was exactly what she was looking for and called to do.

She attended Bastyr University right out of undergrad and completed 3 years of post-graduate residency training in family medicine at Bastyr University.

Dr. Lesnak is co-owner of Neighborhood Naturopathic and Primary Care with Dr. Megan Taylor and enjoys working in the community of West Seattle where she lives with her husband, 2 children, and 2 cats.  She has been described by her patients as calm and relatable and patients leave their visits feeling reassured, empowered, and inspired.

Dr. Lesnak provides integrative primary care for all ages and genders, including:

  • Well child visits and annual exams for adults

  • Routine followup care and acute visits

Additionally, Dr. Lesnak specializes in offering specialty naturopathic care for the following :

  • Integrative fertility care including hormone testing, referral for semen analysis, and outside the box thinking for unexplained infertility diagnoses

  • Gynecological concerns like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, and painful periods

  • Postpartum and lactation concerns such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, and low milk supply

  • Hormone replacement therapy for perimenopause and menopause, including testosterone

  • Pediatric care and education

  • Pediatric neurological and behavioral concerns, such as, PANS/PANDAS, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, sensory processing disorder

  • Autoimmune diseases including Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, rheumatoid arthritis, and lupus

  • Thyroid disorders

  • Mood disorders including PMS/PMDD, anxiety, depression

Dr. Lesnak does not provide:

  • Prenatal care, but can treat common conditions in someone who is pregnant

  • Mold or lyme disease treatment

  • Intrauterine insemination

  • Stimulant medication for ADHD
