In this two-part episode on Coming of Rage, Dr. Brie Woodruff, DNP, ARNP, a Seattle University faculty member who teaches in the Doctoral Family Nurse Practitioner program and works at Neighborhood Naturopathic and Primary Care shares in a discussion of women’s health and hormones. In Part One, we discuss the challenges women face in understanding their bodies and cycles, the symptoms of perimenopause, and using hormone therapy (as well as alternatives) to treat some of the peskier perimenopausal symptoms, while also addressing integrative care for women in midlife.
