Dr. Kristina Olson-Kuyper (she/her)

Dr. Kristina Olson-Kuyper is a licensed naturopathic physician providing primary care for adults and children, with a special focus on women’s health, pediatrics, and preventive medicine.

Dr. Olson-Kuyper has been practicing naturopathic medicine for 15 years. She earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and Certificate in Natural Childbirth from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Her early clinical training and practice included family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, gynecology, and midwifery. She also completed an extended clinical mentorship in obstetrics and gynecology with Kimberly Suriano, MD, at The Oregon Clinic.

In 2016, Dr. Olson-Kuyper founded Sweet Pea Family Medicine in West Seattle, where she cared for children, adults, and families for nine years. She developed lasting relationships with her patients, often caring for multiple members and generations of the same family. After spending a year practicing in Ballard, she is delighted to return to West Seattle and join Neighborhood Naturopathic and Primary Care.

Dr. Olson-Kuyper believes that excellent primary care begins with listening. Her approach is thoughtful, relationship-centered, and evidence-informed, combining conventional primary care with naturopathic medicine to create individualized and practical treatment plans. She values prevention, patient education, and helping people understand their health so they can make informed decisions about their care.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Olson-Kuyper enjoys volunteering with The Goodtimes Project, where she serves as an activities coordinator for summer camps supporting children affected by cancer and their families. She also enjoys backpacking in the mountains and spending time with her two boys—often at Alki Beach.
