Many of you are noticing, hearing about, and are directly impacted by hormone therapy shortages.   These shortages have led to disruptions in care and worsening symptom outcomes.  As of now, the FDA has not listed estradiol patches or micronized progesterone on its national Drug Shortage Database.  When an FDA-approved drug is officially placed on the FDA Drug Shortage Database, it helps to restore market supply and increase production.  Please consider writing to your State Legislators to take further action.  I have included a template below, which you are free to use and/or edit as you see fit.
